Geometry adjustment gone wrong

Post by nelo_inc »

Yesterday i was trying to improve the overall geometry of my KV-29C2E and used the 240p test suite on the PS1 via RGB.
I was able to acess the Service Menu by pressing press i+, 5, vol+, TV while in standby and started changing the values.

When I got to the H Position I changed it from the original value of "7” to “0” and now the H Position parameter is completely unresponsive, and stuck on 0.
All other parameters I can change,I tried Ps1 and Ps2 with both PAL and NTSC signals.

On other inputs like AV1 that value can be changed, but when I change to RGB it won’t let me change it. I left it turned off for many hours, but when I turned it on it remains the same value.
Did I just damaged the TV? I have fear of making it worse changing anything more, I waited and searched for this TV for many months. Hopefully someone can help me solve this.

Usually you have to save the setting changes in the Sony service menu with the mute button. So if you didn't fully save any changes, you should be able to completely unplug the unit for 10 or so minutes and lose unsaved changes, putting it back to where it was before you edited anything.
