Hi,
Was wondering if the HDMI and USB on monitors is linked.
I want to input HDMI for video, but extract the audio from the USB on the monitor into a USB speaker setup.
Is this doable?

You would need an HDMI Audio Extractor. Do a search for it on amazon, ebay etc, they're pretty common.
