How many have you played Twinbee Rainbow Bell Adventures? It did not get a release here over in the US and would like to here your thoughts on it and if i should play it.

From what I heard of and seen the european version is vastly inferior comapred to the Japanese Original with changes like making the game more linear removing the multiple endings and dialogue. And plus i know there is also an english translation of the japanese verison.

I got the Japanese version for reasons outlined above, but also because the box is beautiful and cheaply available from that region (or at least was at the time).

I never played the game too far, which is a shame, I should give it another try. It's kind of a sonic clone euro platformer kinda thing, which is usually really bad, but clearly designed by people who have a better feel for game design.
The mechanics are interesting and sound, and the controls feel very good even though the game has a lot of inertia. Though it has the Sonic problem of running into stuff when you're going fast (or just when you're moving downwards) and taking damage from that. And unlike Sonic you can't just keep taking hits with no consequence. The game gives you three hearts and no lives, though plenty of healing options. It's game over (infinite continues) when you run out. And the game has insta-death traps too, such as spikes, which will also result in a game over, so I'm not sure if the game was really designed around a 1CC - I think that probably takes a lot of painful memorization.

That said, if you're a manly man like Blinge, the game is absolutely too gay for you.
