I was doing a recap on a GBA and I manage to ripped one of the pads of the CP2 capacitor while removing the old one. In order to fix it, I think I could just solder a wire from the + side of the new capacitor to the DA2 component as shown in red it the diagram and the photo:
Is the above a valid solution??? or am I missing something??

should work. you could also try using enameled wire, remove the enamel, to connect to the broken pad. It looks like part of the pad is still there.
