Hey guys,
I'm having trouble finding high score runs for some games. I'm led to believe that Japan has a much more active arcade scene (perhaps due to population density?) than elsewhere. Is there any way to access Japanese YouTube from the States? Youtube.co.jp is not doing the trick. I'm also wondering more generally if there is a Japanese equivalent to Twin Galaxies, or this forum, etc. where scores are claimed and/or runs are posted.

Re: YouTube Japan
There is no Japanese youtube. I'm in Japan and I just use normal youtube.com, but because of my location I get all the Japanese stuff on my front page.
Re: YouTube Japan
There is no separate Japanese Youtube. A lot of content is only described in Japanese so you need to search in Japanese to get those results.

Here are some useful links to get you started:

Sometimes replays that aren't on youtube can be found on Niconico (Japanese video sharing site) or Bilibili (Chinese video sharing)

I've done this multiple and had good results. A few channels include the game title in katakana, or you can straight up google "(name of game) Japanese" and I've found it that way. Then copy/paste that name into the video search.trap15 wrote:A lot of content is only described in Japanese so you need to search in Japanese to get those results.

There are a few user-created video indexes around, in addition to the hall of records Rastan suggested. Restart Syndrome has one, as does the shmups wiki
