My wife did what?

Post by ryosnk »

Here it goes, we just moved and and my wife had the day off and decided to unpack. Well I get home and notice my Genesis box empty (it had my original purchased genesis system inside) and my wife tells me that she cleaned all my systems. I notice my three genesis systems (the two others where bought in a garage sale for $2 each) on the floor clean but I was upset because I cant tell the difference between the three and I cant claim which is the original Genesis (it has huge sentimental value to me and I got it in 1991) that belonged in the box.

So, I ask you all if their is a way to tell the difference between the three like seriel numbers or anything like that?

Your help will be appreciated.

You're a bad person. :) You can also see which one of those consoles will play Zany Golf, Budokan, Populous, or any of the Acolade and other games which were locked out when Sega revised the system. Newer models won't boot them without a Game Genie.

Man thats really tough! If I were you, I'd beat the living shit outa my wife.
Then I'd buy a gun and shoot her in the head 64 times. Then, just to be sure this will never happen again, I'd "turn gay", just to be on the safe side! 8)

Sorry, I don't mean to offend anyone here. I'm just compiling some scraps from some recent threads and mearly attempting to be funny.

I think I've seen a cartoon on newgrounds that's a bit like that.
"When we were talking to one of the executives at the BBC. And he said, 'Now hold on, this man is so incompetent why wouldn't he be fired?' and I said 'Go and take a look around this building. Just go and knock on a few doors.'" - Ricky Gervais

I'd consider myself lucky that whoever ends up being my wife cares enough for my systems she volunteers to clean them. Girls who understand, appreciate and respect your gaming=teh love.

And I third it!

Zany Golf has got to be THE Genesis game with the most compatibility issues. Which stinks, because it's a great game.

Thank your wife and then try one of the said games, imo. She was just trying to do something nice. At least she didn't toss it or sell it (do you need 3?)

Thanks for your responses everyone. I did not yell at my wife for the the good think she did (I was mostly thinkinig about it afterwards) and I thank her for it. Heck, she has been great buying me few shmup games and getting me an xbox 360 for my birthday. The funny thing is she hates my gaming hobby but yet she still supports it :D . She is great I did appreciate the thought of it.
