Devs who left "recent big names" and still make stg today?

I'm interested to know...

For example, certain people left Cave and managed to do their own shmups now - that would be Tanoshimasu with Aka to Blue (any news from them, btw?) and those guys in M2 who made new arcade Aleste entry.

But any other examples like this? Obviously it will never be like the great birth from Toaplan ashes spawning many legendary names back then, but i wonder if there is more to cases to be aware of.

Pretty much everone who worked on GG Aleste 3 worked on well regarded STGs from the 90's. Explains why the game was so good.
