Speaking of XS games releases...

Did anyone on here pick up Rebel Raiders: Operation Nighthawk? There's a review, and a link to some movies of it, here:

If it is indeed very much like an old-school arcade shooter (albeit, not a shmup) then it might be worth $20.

This isn't exactly what I'd call a "hidden gem." It looks like you'll be better served by more known and guaranteed-not-to-suck-hard flying games. But if your style is to get your hands into the dirt to find that awesome game everyone else doesn't seem to care about, tell me if you find anything.

I;m sorry if I was harsh, but I don't even know that you've played this game. And that's all I'm asking for; an opinion from someone on here who has.

i've made a topic bout this game a while back, no one knew anything bout it so i picked it up for 20 bucks. The controls are smooth and all but it got pretty repetitive the first 2 hours i played the game, its pretty short almost all the levels have you do the same thing just fly kill the jet fighters with your basic vulcan and lock on. thats bout it, Level design kinda sux too unlike panzer dragoon where it felt epic to me with more variety.

Ok, thanks for the feedback! Yeah, Game Spot has 3 movies of the game up, and the levels don't look nearly as good as Panzer Dragoon. Are there any boss fights?

I really wish I could try this game out somewhere, but EB games (at least out here) doesn't allow you to try out games (unless we're talkin' XBOX 360). So unless a copy of this shows up used at Game Crazy or Game Force, then I'm out of luck.

i'll probably sell you mine if i decide i want to get rid of it,its completely mint still as ive only beaten it once within the first couple days of owning it. If im gonna sell it im gonna let it go to you for 10 bucks, i asked eb the trade in value for it the second week of release and they said 11 bucks im sure its less now tho, so 10 bucks sounds good. well ill let you know.
