I've gotten the chance to spend some real time using my Mitsubishi Megaview XC-3315C the last few days, and everything is great, except when running my PC via the ANALOG 1 input (RGBHV via BNC) at 800x600 (max resolution) the image seems to be over-sharpened. Looking at the manual, it doesn't look like "SHARPNESS" is adjustable on this input. Looking at the image below, can you guys see what I'm talking about? There are spots where you can see vertical lines/patches where the image is oversharp. Any thoughts on what I might do to fix this? Or make it look more uniform?
If sharpness is not adjustable, its not oversharpened. A true VGA monitor should not have a sharpness setting anyways, it should display the signal exactly how it receives it.
At the suggestion of someone I tried going to a lower resolution, and it fixed everything. Windows 7 is pretty interesting to navigate at 480p, but hey I can't complain. It sounds like the tubes in this model of monitor don't display 600p very well. So 480p it is.
