BTW this looks amazing. Looking forward to all the new characters. The new additions were so well handled in Wild Guns and Ninja, so I'd expect this to be no different cleavage showing or not. To be honest, the actual in game sprite is pretty low key.

Little known fact: this is kinda historically accurate. Victorian women who arrived in Japan were shocked to see Japanese women going about their day with their gazongas out. Japanese summers get hot+humid AF and especially for women doing physical labour, going shirtless wasn't weird. There are historical photos online that I could link, but that sounds TOS-violating even for anthropological purposes.

I saw an old Kurosawa film where there was a swim team, and they were all topless. It was set in the past, so I think it was "historically accurate".

Kinda lazy poster, eh? Usually at least they have a different one on the other side, not just a recolor. I want the little acrylic shitter, maybe the stickers to put on my trapper keeper for when I inevitably go back to college for the fourth time and get beat up. This has to be one of the best looking remakes I've seen for anything since Zero Mission. I really appreciate how much new content they packed into this and the visual update has such a perfect balance of updated and classic. Really lovingly done work.

Strongly disagree. It only uses the US name for the game, rather than the original JP name and doesn't specify that the trailer is only in Japanese. When I see the name "Pocky and Rocky Reshrined", I expect an English trailer. The Nintendolife page only had the US name and date in the headline. I clicked on a page I may not have otherwise clicked on because I was expecting the trailer to be in my native language. "Pocky and Rocky" isn't even a translation of the original title!

Wow. This is not what I expected for posting an opinion. News sites have been using the US title for JP games a long time and I personally find it confusing. And same game or not, the western title with no mention of JP makes me assume an english trailer. Not sure why that's "odd" or warrants a single "your opinion is dumb" post.
