"Farted around with it"? C'mon man. It's Radiant. At least say you "Wint'ogreen livesaver'd around with it."GaijinPunch wrote:I actually popped it in as to be honest.. I've only farted around with it. Enjoying it though. I definitely like it better than Ikaruga, although the multiple weapons takes some serious time to get used to.
Given the rabid popularity of Radiant Silvergun.....

On Topic: I just read a faq on RS over at Gamefaqs. That'll probably allow me to enjoy it more. One thing though -- how come it doesn't save my damn score, and why doesn't it start the score to zero when you continue? :/

Quite a few... some of them I've posted on Japanese Gaming. Hmm... lemme think. SMC Collection, SM RPG, Shin Nekketsu Kouha (Kunio-kun game), both Kiki Kaikai games, Biometal, both Akumajo games, Cotton 100%, Macross Scramble Valkyrie, Umihara Kawase, Doremi Fantasy, All the Goemon games, Zelda, Contra Spirits, Super Aleste, Popful Mail, Wild Guns, Super Ninja-kun, Kou Hagane, Magical Pop'n, Yoshi Island, Lady Stalker, Kirby Super Deluxe, Kirby 3, Flying Hero, and some others. Grabbed a stack of PSX and Saturn games as well. My company paid for the move, so unlike most people who have moving sales, I doubled my collection, knowing I could sell them for probably more than what I paidI wanna know though, what SFC goodies did ya get?

For the first question, it depends on what you mean by "saving your score." In Arcade mode, the game will save your high scores and let you enter your initials like any other shmup, and on Saturn mode it'll do the same thing: BUT only if you quit after one credit. This is because, as you say, the game's score doesn't reset if you continue: it can't, because your weapon strength increases depending on how many points you've scored with each weapon, and if the score reset your weapons would be sent to square one as well. Back to "score saving:" if you play on Saturn mode, after your game is over you're given the option of saving your game on one of 3 files: if you load up the file next time you play you'll be back at the beginning as usual, but your score will be intact, as will your weapon strength. Not intended to be used to play for score, obviously, but a good way to beat the game the first time and see what you're up against. Hopefully that covered what you wanted to know...GaijinPunch wrote:One thing though -- how come it doesn't save my damn score, and why doesn't it start the score to zero when you continue?
