I'm also hoping it will have online play.
They should have left Sensible Soccer alone. Honestly.
Neither Jon Hare or Chris Chapman are working in this AFAIK. The game probably will have only its name and nothing else.
Sensible Soccer just CAN'T be brought to the new millenium. I think it's a blasphemy someone wants to make a "modern update" of this game.
But yeah, let's hope for the best.
Well it got a great review over at Eurogamer, so here's hoping. Jon Hare WAS involved though I'm sure? Sounds like the MD version of the original play-wise with the three button control.
Myself, I'm slowing down right now as there so much stuff I've yet to play. Lost Planet on 360 looks beautiful though. That machine is probably my next buy, I'll just be a little more selective and buy fewer games than I did on Xbox.

Someone already mentioned Landmaker (released as "Builder's Block" in the US)...I've been quite addicted to that lately, so I'll recommend it too, definitely give it a try in MAME. The PS1 version also has an extra Puzzle and Vs. Mode (with entirely different graphics): Arcade mode looks nearly arcade-perfect, but there are unfortunate amounts of load time between rounds, and scores are only saved for Puzzle mode. It's not expensive though.
There are also several Puyo Puyo games on PS1/2, if you're into that series.
I've pre-ordered Metal Slug 6 and I'm thinking of picking up Galaxy Angel II (JP PS2) when it's released June 22nd, but maybe I'll pick that one up later (won't have much time to play it this summer anyway).
Beauzilla, please, PLEASE take Radilgy PS2 off your list. Get the DC version. Get the PS2 version only if you decide that you want to play the game in full slow motion mode (even when there are no enemies on screen).
As for my future purchases...Street Fighter Alpha Collection, even though I already own the godly import version (still godly even with the Saturn and even PS1 versions looking better as far as resolution goes). I've been on a 2-D fighter kick lately...Zero Fighters Generation, CvsSNK2, Vampire Collection, Neo Geo Battle Colliseum. I need to unseal PS2 "Matrimelee."
Thanx for the heads up GOTIII.Seems like everyone is hating on the PS2 version.I'll definetly go for the DC version.Still no one bought the Gamecube version? My little Cube needs some love.
Now playing:
PS:Dodonpachi
the Adventure of Little Ralph
GC:Ikaruga

Probably my favorite puzzler for PS2 is Bombastic (Devil's Dice on PS1).
This is pretty crazy. Well worth the $10. I like the rule changes to the endless* mode. I miss the single fixed puzzles, though, as maddening as they were. Quest is interesting but not the same.
*scratch that, not endless, but my mind starts to melt and eyes bug out after 25 minutes
