That was a brilliant watch. I cannot fathom the fact that a human brain can successfully navigate those final patterns from Doom. What's wild is that there were a few small missed opportunities here there, there's still room for improvement.

I mean does anything else even come remotely close? I'd even rank his non wr ketsui scores (550m+) above anything else in the history of the site. Granted I'm biased since ketsui is my favorite shmup.

It's definitely the latest earth-shattering thing to witness in the past couple years or so, I was left kinda just sitting around after the stream party and being like "god damn, the power levels have changed" like it was something out of Dragonball Z changing from one arc to the next. Witnessing the rise in power of something far beyond the ability of what most will ever reach, I was just sitting for a good while at some point yesterday feeling like Krillin or Yamcha and watching Goku go up another entire power level.

Edges out previous world record by SPS by 25M approx. Absolutely beasted. Minded, it is on the M2 PS4 port and not PCB, but that doesn't change much.
I know I want to do a few credits of Ketsui now.

Also no more bitching, just dedicate yourself and set out to your goal however big or small it is.

For me, such a large task is difficult because I often get tunnel vision and limit myself to a way of playing until I execute it. When in reality I think progress should always be evolving and picking up tricks and effeciencies instead of docking into a limited goal or vision of what a good run is. One can surmise Moglar was always studying his competition and his own gameplay in his pursuit of this goal, and adapting to everything he picked up. Little by little until the gain was gigantic. So now we see potential of 620M because of this new groundwork. Pretty inspiring!

The amount of skill needed to pull of this level of play is indeed praiseworthy and probably some of the best displayed outside of Japan, for sure. And on one of the hardest games in the genre, to boot.

Big congrats to moglar for this one, for sure. The stream party was quite fun watching everything unfold!
