Would be nice if these happened. I had a feeling these games would be on the table. I mean why stop at the initial 3. I'm thinking they are waiting to see how the initial 3 sell to determine if it is worth it to port anything else.

Man a MMP port would be something else, I finally caved (ho ho) and sold my 360 copy this year when things were a little tight.

I'm optimistic about their sales, especially in Japan. The switch has completely taken over the market there, and i think the shmup audience is larger than it was in the 360 times, just because of higher population, and because the entire touhou audience hadn't yet become what it is today

MMP is one of my favorites, but the 360 port is a bit laggy. I'd love to see it touched up so it could be at parity with the best on the system at around 2-3 frames of lag, vs the 5 it has on the 360.

I'd normally expect MMP to be lost forever, but you're right about all this. I have a soft spot for this game and would love to see this reach more people.

And...of course, Futari is one of the best ever.

MMP is a top 3 for me and futari is super high up there too

since these haven't been ported to more platforms I'd definitely buy both day one and splurge on some physical versions (not common for me any more)

Reception to Mushi 1 was extremely positive across the board, and I think it sold well enough. I would love nothing more than the sequel, my personal fav shmup, on the switch. Would love a physical release of it. Heck, why not the first and 2nd in a compilation? But there is me daydreaming again.

Seeing how ridiculously priced Muchi Muchi Pork is, it would be great to see that one released too, however I don't think anyone will see it as having as much appeal as either Mushihimesama or Dodon Pachi. Then again, if CruisinMix can end up on the Switch, then just about anything can, I guess.

Except anything by Konami. Konami hate us all.

Livewire has also made several tweets indicating that they want to release physicals.

Also a few referencing working hard on "reproducibility" which seems to just mean accuracy. And they've already proven it with the Mushi port, they did a great job.

Good signs.

Does anyone have any idea who this company is or where they came from? They also published Ender Lilies which has gotten a bit of attention, but whoever is tweeting for them is clearly more interested in the Cave ports. I really can't find much information, especially in English. They just lol shadow drop freaking Mushihimesama and no one has ever heard of them? Kinda crazy.

A bunch of them are ex-CAVE.

Wow, didn't know they were a Japanese company. With such a typical Western style name, I assumed they were some unknown port company from the west. Indeed, checking up on their website, they're situated in Shibuya (worryingly, as this is where corona is arguably the hardest hit in Japan).
And if they're also ex-Cave, then who else would be more passionate enough, have the knowledge of, and connections to get more titles out there on switch? Knowing this definitely fills me with more confidence.

The Switch version credits don't seem to list anyone I can identify as having worked at Cave other than the producer, Junichi Asami: viewtopic.php?p=1458963#p1458963 But wherever they worked previously, they did a great job with Mushi so I'm really optimistic about the games they're doing next.

Muchi Muchi Pork would be a day-one purchase for me if it happened.
