Most high fidelity shmup experiences

Darius 1's original cabinet is the fine wine of shmups imo, especially when you consider it came out in '86. It has a headphone port with sound balance knobs! Body-sonic! That bitchin' ultra-wide display. My first ever experience with the series was actually Darius 1 on an original cabinet at Kawasaki Warehouse in 2013. Even a being a quarter of a century late to the party that cabinet blew my mind.

What hifi are claiming Forza horizon 5 gives you TV & hifi a better work out than the latest 4k Atmos Hollywood blockbuster
I'd love a shmup to do that! Was hoping dariusburst but no...
