What Japanese shmup from could this possibly be?

The game shown at the top with the statue demon boss, wicked electrical lasers and skeleton boss, is that actually some early prototype of Micronet's 'Curse' for the Mega Drive? Or could it be some other game entirely, that perhaps got mislabeled Curse?

I used a translator app, that's why I know it says it is Curse,

Yet it sure as heck doesn't look like Curse.

I figured someone here might know, or be able to find out.

Says "Curse" and says "Micronet". Definitely the proto form.

The changes between the proto and released game seem...pretty drastic.

The caption on the right says “images show items in development”, but I’m tempted to say they’re just mock-ups. The actual game is just so far removed from anything in those pics, lol.

Not to me.

The actual end boss in Curse, its first form anyway, is the one pictured on the cover.

I too am tempted to think the screenshots are for the wrong game. Perhaps not even a MD game at all. I agree, it just looks too different.

The only thing that looks like it could be from Curse are the satellite bits/options near your ship in the first screenshot, but it is too blurry to tell for sure.
