My girlfriend and I are heading to Tokyo for 3 days/2 nights at the end of June (after staying with her family in Taiwan for a week) on the way back to Hawaii. Any suggestions on fun things to do? Of course I plan to spend a day at the game shops buying tons of stuff, but we are interested in seeing shrines, museums, and other neat things. I lived in Japan for a year before (in Aichi-ken), but never got a chance to go to Tokyo in that time. We plan to be in the Tokyo & Kamakura areas mostly.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I spend the majority of time in Akihabara, but I went to check out the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Offices building, which was pretty cool. Entrance is free(when I was there 10/04), and from the top you get a great view of the surrounding neighborhoods.
I also went to the big temple in Asakusa, which was near the capsule hotel that I stayed at.
