okay, found this in an archive
All good things come to an end....

Since Cyberdyne Systems does not intend to continue the hosting service,
my arcade scan collection has gone bye bye !

A huge thanks to everybody who supported World of Arcades !

okay.. ive made a big discovery :D
From what ive been able to put together Sheep is, or did work for a vending distributor called VSA Voegtle & Schweizer AG out of Switzerland..
Im only deducing this because their web server,i just so happen to find on a whim, is the original location of his website..
And all this long before there was ever a world-of-arcades.

The structure of this original site is much more intact in the archive. Theres in fact a great deal of artwork that was not mirrored over to world-of-arcades! ive come across some gems already..
theres approximately 1350 individual links archived over a several year period,so its not that many really. 45 pages of 30 links..

http://vsa-ag.ch/
(their present site)

http://web.archive.org/web/*sr_1321nr_3 ... sa-ag.ch/*
(this is the archive starting point, have to cut and paste it)

start from the 45th page and move back.. ;)

much of the high res artwork and are posters intact!! heres a taste.

http://web.archive.org/web/200203121843 ... 1_Back.jpg

many of the manuals are working as well!!

http://web.archive.org/web/200307160316 ... d_engl.pdf

http://web.archive.org/web/200305250239 ... l_engl.pdf

just from skimming it over, almost every link is live and can be found in one place or another over a several year period using the archive from the link i provided.
its just going to take someone with some patience and/or who knows how to harvest links en'masse. between this and the structure of the sheep site, this is a pretty damn good start considering the material technically no longer resides on the net.

Enjoy!
