Just wanted to share a video of one of my favourite doujin shmup for the x68000 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YUt9FI_wm9Q&t=1367s
The pc 98 version was created with a shump editor called bakasuka wars, so even if the game has a good level design the result is not so good.
The developer made another version for the x68000 and this time the result is excellent in my opinion.

Looks a lot like EDF. Disregarding the bad prototype version it seems like a solid, albeit bit generic play. Final boss is quite original pattern-wise.
The only wrong way to play a game is whatever stops you from having fun with it.
