hey shmupers!

I was stoned last night and i had a lovely blast to the past about a game i used to play every holidays at a holiday park we went to yearly. i thought shit, why havent i remembered this game before!
I was bloody young so i can only remember small details, especially that i loved the game!

It was horizontal, and you flew in kind of futuristic cars with cannons on em
i have a feeling you had a blue and red car depending what player you were..
i seem to remember at some part in it flying with clouds and stuff, shooting in the sky

i could of sworn it was horizontal though..
i had a feeling the car was kinda bigger, and ya shot other blokes in cars or somethin lol
my memory is so flaky, but damn, i musta been like 5 years old

will check that on mame when i get home from work..

Are you sure, because in your first post you said you were "stoned" that night.

Your best bet is to run thru Mame. Goto the menu screen on the left -> Genre -> Shootr.hor -> play each game and figure it out.

I think you were probably just stoned on the horizontal part, because pretty much everything else matches up with Turbo Force. Flying Delorean-looking cars, red and blue player colors, 2nd stage is in the clouds... it's all there.
