"Gradius Grand Mega boss" artwork

Post by Fallen_Archangel »

I was looking through reviews of various shmups in search of cool space ship sprites, and then I have seen those almost-identical Gradius boss sprites.
So I thought that if all those small boss-ships were combined to create one huge boss-ship, that would be pretty cool.
So I tried to combine them, and discovered I was quite right. As a result this monster was created:

Beautiful! I've always had a bit of an obsession with the Gradius cores. Nice work, mate.

Here's a Big Core made from smaller enemy ships, by King Moai from the GameStone forums:

Sounds like Gradius Galaxies (aka Generations, aka Advance).
I hate it that the ship the ships you have to shoot are so small. It is so annoying!
