My first topic here

Post by EastEndDestroyer »

Does anyone here think there should be a sequel to Einhander for the PS1

Has anyone here tried Gradius and R-type final for the PS2? Which one's better?

Which Schmups from the Sega Genesis era should be remade?
(Mine would be Steel Empire.)

Hello and welcome to the Shmups forum! :)

I haven't played Gradius V or R-TYPE Final yet (don't have a PS2 yet) but I will answer your other questions.

Yep, an Einhander sequel would be cool.

The one Genny shmup that should have been remade was MUSHA. Too bad Compile died before they could do it. As good as ZanacXZanac is, that would have been the better one to remake IMHO.

Not so much a remake, but there should've been Thunder Force VI.

The GBA port of Steel Empire is supposed to be enhanced.

Yes. Those environments and enemies still look amazing. Imagine them with serious processing behind them.

I 2nd that wholeheartedly. And yes, an Einhander sequel would have absolutely rocked. I'd like a remake of Eliminate Down and Gleylancer, except that they be released in the US this time!
