Wouldn't want to play this without autofire. I was actually getting into this during Calice Cup a lot more than I expected, and then I encountered the level with the darkness gimmick and it soured the game for me horrifically.

The first half is rather easy but things start getting thrown out the window when you reach the latter half of the game. And the spear traps on the final stretch are impossible to survive without the 'S' and a single speedup, which is also needed to intercept Zawel's only boomerang attack. Probably never coming back to this game again just even after being stuck in checkpoint hell in Armed F.

My score is inflated by the large amount of times I died on the final checkpoint, and all the gold orbs I got. I reached stage 8 with about 380k so I literally doubled my score on the last stage. I triggered at least 4 extends on the last stage. In the end I took down the boss with the peashooter and 2 speed ups (and a full sized dragon).
