Does anyone know of have experience of modding something like the Hori VX3 stick that had on board autofire sliders for each button in a way where there are two buttons wired as the same primary shot. One that goes through the on-board autofire circuit and the other bypassing around the circuit so it is possible to have both autofire and charge shot working.
Is this actually possible (I theory it should be)? Had anyone ever attempted/achieved something like this?
This is for games like 19XX, Stagger I and Nostradamus so I don’t have to button mash but can still get the use of the charge shot.

@Triple-Lei thanks for the heads up on that board.Looks very interesting and hadn’t heard about it before. Being able to set the delay time is also a great feature. I will probably get a couple and stash them for making my own custom panel in the future.
In the meantime as I’m not really ready to start that project I’m still hopeful that it would be possible to achieve a ‘ghetto’ version using the autofire function already on the control board in the way I described?

Ok so a very helpful member of the forum has pointed me in the direction of the ‘Simple’ Autofire circuit using a hex inverter. Whilst my electronics knowledge and skills are limited I’m sure I can have a go at this. If anyone out there more knowledgable in electronics and this autofire method can confirm that my parts list here is all good that would be a great help.

Oh and it’s probably simpler than having an electromechanical autofire system like this one https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Xj1wlRBEues

The TimeHarvest CBOX superguns also let you configure Saturn controllers so that the XYZ buttons are turbo versions of ABC, recently started playing Raiden Fighters 2 with it.
