If you're out of country and wondering why the tally is running behind, Republicans passed rules in some states to slow the process. They did it on purpose.
They know how many are out there but have no idea if those people even wanted them. Thus, not how many are coming back. California did the exact same thing (to the tune of 40 million people) but of course nobody gives a shit b/c it won't be close.orange808 wrote: Election officials are now claiming they have no idea how many votes remain outstanding. A socialist police state but with no police except everybody's somehow in jail without bond for resisting vaccination while a civil war goes on without gas does sound like a pretty dark world.Steamflogger Boss wrote:

Sure, but preprocessing (or outright precounting) mail-in votes alleviates and offsets the issues--and allows for a timely (punctual) count that meets expectations.GaijinPunch wrote:They know how many are out there but have no idea if those people even wanted them. Of course it does... common sense. The fact that Republicans wanted to block preparing of ballots in what was presumed to be a record turnout year with everything slowed down from social distancing shows their true colors. People can bitch and moan all they want about this party and that party, but voter suppression is a Republican thing.Sure, but preprocessing (or outright precounting) mail-in votes alleviates and offsets the issues--and allows for a timely (punctual) count that meets expectations.
A couple of meme groups I'm in are killing it though so I don't want to interrupt the creative process.Anyhow, they created this and fully intended to use it. It backfired and turn about is fair play. There is a solution: they could just count the darn votes the right way from the beginning.I couldn't make up conspiracy theories and happily spread them if the GOP had been honest.

Literally the only people in congress who gave a shit about the 2000 ass-ramming were in the black caucus and the socialist. Everyone else was back to brunch*, goose-stepping to the commands of their commander in chief. As they do to this day. What in the world of "bipartisanship" makes you think democrats would want to win elections????????????????????????? Not losing for them would be like the cookie monster not eating cookies or ninja turtles turning down pizza.Mischief Maker wrote:If the democrats rigged this election, why didn't they give themselves a super majority in congress? Why would they lose so many state legislatures on the eve of redistricting?
This isn't unusual, it's a typical result of our horrible broken voting system.cvaniafan wrote:The new president of the US still unknown after 3 days, I mean.. it's just incredible![]()
how is such a thing possible ?! Smells fishy lol
The fact that he inherited an economy that had been turned around after 8 years of funding Bush's war may have something to do with it.cvaniafan wrote:Actually, Trump was good on an economical point of view, better than Obama.
You know, I hear this quoted so often, it reminds me of that Chris Rock skit where he criticizes people who brag about taking care of their kids.cvaniafan wrote:and no war with Trump.

Either way, I'm glad that the seven votes I cast in each of seven different districts (and the multiple ballots I mailed), have given rise to stuff like this:

This is perfectly normal and to be expected. We're in the middle of a pandemic that's resulted in far more mail-in ballots than normal, with a president whose administration directly tried to subvert the election by tampering with how the mail system is handled, and with a president who has also whipped up mobs into protesting at ballot counting stations. And all this in the middle of a pandemic, which again is mainly Trump and his administration's fault for not properly attempting to contain it, resulting in thousands of deaths.cvaniafan wrote:The new president of the US still unknown after 3 days, I mean.. it's just incredible![]()

This article stands as true today as when it was written a few years ago, and should answer some of those questions: https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archi ... nt/572104/Understand me, I'm not defending Trump, just trying to understand what he did on a factual point of view and why so many people voted for him.
I know, dude. It's cool. I just wanted to point that out.cvaniafan wrote:Understand me, I'm not defending Trump, just trying to understand what he did on a factual point of view and why so many people voted for him. I mean Trump's war was mostly economy, employment and protectionism against China..
I laughed unreasonably hard.
Of course China continues to export to the US, but I'm just pointing out this fact:Blinge wrote:China continue to export to the US largely avoiding tarriffs and now re-draw trade agreements in the pacific with everyone except the US, calling all the shots themselves.
sure told them.

I know and I agree with you, but I mean it is no coincidence if a good part of the working class voted Trump, the median income increased (~about an extra $359.00 per month), which hasn't happened since 1967.Vanguard wrote:The last thing this nation needs are looser regulations and lower taxes for big businesses.cvaniafan wrote:He also created 5 millions employments, drastically reduced taxes and regulations on companies and company-making (which greatly helped the employments)
Don't... don't let them pour this kind of poison into your mind. The line only matters to capitalists and the lackeys of capitalists, it has nothing to do with the actual life of the average person outside of the coastal cities.cvaniafan wrote:I have tried to understand why Bidden's victory has been so difficult and uncertain, and I think I get it.
Actually, Trump was good on an economical point of view, better than Obama. He was great for Wall Street and the GAFAM for sure, but not only. He also created 5 millions employments, drastically reduced taxes and regulations on companies and company-making (which greatly helped the employments), he reduced the bill of 100 billions on the chinese importations, and the US has become first with shale-gas.
^ See, he's basically Bernie Sanders if you only get information from TV and you're not paying much attention or thinking about it too much.A lot of Trump fans just listen to what he says and pay no attention to what he does. I'm on board with a lot of his 2016 promises. End the forever war, drain the swamp, bring outsourced jobs back, lock her up, all good things. Too bad it wasn't real.

Do people legitimately believe there hasn't been war under trump? War's been ongoing since '01.cvaniafan wrote:Specineff wrote:You know, I hear this quoted so often, it reminds me of that Chris Rock skit where he criticizes people who brag about taking care of their kids.
