Have you tried Urquan Masters

Mid last month, Toys for Bob announced they want to convince Activision to let them make another Star Control game, and there's an online petition to send to Activision:

I plan on picking 1 shmup and going for a 1cc, I play way too many that I never get better and any. I'm thinking it's going to be radirgy or trizeal.

I'll get on that as soon as I finish modding my dc. I always spend the day playing games in raine since I hate having to look for my codebreaker

Also have a stick to finish building from the case of a hori saturn fighting stick.

then finish it off by installing suse 10.1 and having a sweet svgalib emu setup if I can figure out how to pull it off. that stuff can be tricky for me

Hoping to finish my basement so I can move my mame cab down there and free up some space in my living room. Does that count?

I just finished this today (started yesterday). Pretty happy with how it turned out. But the wimpy PSU (ripped out of a DVD player) isn't enough to juice ST-V or CPS-2. Works fine for my MVS and JAMMA boards though.

I plan on building a decent enough computer to run Oblivion so I don't need to buy an Xbox 360.

Hey, I've got that same PSX arcade joystick, but the "clicking" it makes every time I move the joystick drives me nuts. Does yours do the same thing, and does it bother you at all?

Yeah, mine clicks a lot too but it doesn't bother me much. Especially since I bought it cheap, I can't complain too much. One big problem though is that the way I modded it, I guess the carbon dots on the plungers don't let enough current through, so a lot of my PCBs don't work well with it unless I press the buttons really hard.

* finally get a nice functioning VGA setup for DC
* mod my ps2 in one way or another for ibara/dragonblaze/mushi/esp, etc
* sell off a ton of un-needed games, mainly rpgs and games I'm never playing again
*figure out which arcade stick I'm getting for what system (mostly likely saturn or DC)
*1cc any of the following (getting close mind you):underdefeat, chaosfield, gunbird2
*play through shadow of the colossus

1)Finish FFXII (I'm 11 hours in, so I've a ways to go. Awesome game though!)
2)Finish Okami (only 4 hours in on this and I'm not picking it up again until FFXII is done)
3)Work on one or more of these shmups (haven't decided yet): Ibara, DDP:DOJ, Batsugun, Battle Garegga, Radiant Silvergun, Border Down
4)Clear all modes of Doki Doki Idol Star Seeker Remix :D
