I just can't get a perfect 480p picture with this. Here's what I've tried:
1a) VGA & RCA audio from the System 256 to the I/O board
1b) I/O to supergun
1c) Supergun to OSSC via 8 pin mini din to SCART
= Image is too dark.
2a) VGA & RCA audio from the System 256 to the OSSC directly
2b) I/O to supergun
= Image is too bright, and a little bit wavy. The problem looks like the "too bright" problem on My Life in Gaming's PVM video, but I'm not sure how I would implement that 75 ohm terminator solution with the OSSC.
Right now I'm thinking of getting a Belden 1522A VGA to Component Video Cable / 6 foot HD15 to 3 BNC from Blue Jeans Cable, along with those 75 ohm terminators and hoping it all works out with the OSSC, but it'll cost me, especially when nothing's guaranteed. Halp?

EDIT: Problem solved without buying anything extra thanks to this site: http://members.iinet.net.au/~lantra9jp1 ... index.html
Long story short, if you want 480p, use the second setup (VGA from the System 256 directly to the OSSC) and have the dip switches on the System 256 set like this:
UP-DOWN-DOWN-DOWN
And don't worry if you don't get any picture at first; even if you set it to 31.5 kHz, the system won't start in 480p, but it'll switch later.
