New Capcom Classics Collection 2 announced for PS2 and XBox
Finally Capcom unveiled a little news about a sequel to the original CCC, although no titles have been announced on the collection just yet.

Also the GBA looks to be getting a little loving as well.

Still no word about Taito Legends 2 at E3 that I know of, but Capcom shocked me a bit with this.

Excellent. I'm still hoping they include the few exclusives to the PSP collection (Varth, Side Arms...) alongside the hopefully never-seen-a-port-before games.
No matter how good a game is, somebody will always hate it. No matter how bad a game is, somebody will always love it.

Oh, and Bloodreign, sorry for chasing you from forum to forum on this one. But I'm sure the game list is important to a lot of people.

If that lists holds up, those titles alone have me sold on the compilationPFG 9000 wrote:Here's the list of games included:

I see they also threw Tiger Road on there, I've grown to like that little quirky game, and means waiting for it's release along with every game but Quiz and Dragons will be an exercise in futility (not that I don't emulate 19 of the 20 titles already on this list
), as it will be nice to play them on the big screen.
Keep the compilations coming, we need other companies to jump in mainly Konami and Irem.

Wow, that's awesome. Looks like the most tempting game of the year, what with ST (I really hope that Capcom finally makes a decent port of the game) and CapCom.
EDIT: Looks like every game in the PSP collection is in CCC2 (or CCC1). Excellent!

I somehow doubt Progear, 19XX or Loop Master will be out in a collection like this. On average the generation these comes from are about 10 years behind said games so unless they release a CCC5 then maybe appearances will be forth coming. IMO
I'm still quite satisfied knowing 1941 and Captain Commando are at my disposal on PS2 now.

Well, 19XX is from 1996, 1 year earlier than G-darius, which is available on Taito Collection, and also runs in superior hardware (I think).Limbrooke wrote:I somehow doubt Progear, 19XX or Loop Master will be out in a collection like this. In every thread of every message board I've seen this posted (only about 3 admittedly) no-one gets excited about Three Wonders, which is one of my all time favourite arcade games.
WHY DOES NO-ONE REMEMBER MIDNIGHT WANDERERS!?!?!
WHERE IS THE LOVE FOR CHARIOT!?!?
WHY WAS DON'T PULL SO RUBBISH?!?!?!
x100000000000
So to conclude I wil buy this.

True, Progear alone got enough weight to be sold in seperate title.Limbrooke wrote:I somehow doubt Progear, 19XX or Loop Master will be out in a collection like this. Yes, I am sold too.Limbrooke wrote:I'm still quite satisfied knowing 1941 and Captain Commando are at my disposal on PS2 now.

*Meow* I am as serious as a cat could possible be. *Meow*
Because most people who know about those games already own the Saturn and/or PSX ports?~Kid Icarus~ wrote:In every thread of every message board I've seen this posted (only about 3 admittedly) no-one gets excited about Three Wonders, which is one of my all time favourite arcade games.![]()

Wasn't Chariot's original title Roosters?
Don't Cave still technically own the IP rights to Progear? Afterall, they created and distributed the cellphone Progear game, not Capcom. I would assume that much like the AVP-fiasco, Capcom couldn't port/print the game without the IP holder's consent.SAM wrote:True, Progear alone got enough weight to be sold in seperate title.Limbrooke wrote:I somehow doubt Progear, 19XX or Loop Master will be out in a collection like this.
