I've been replacing the capacitor in all of my Genesis and SNES PSUs and I finally came to the Genesis Model 2 PSU, the MK-2103 and I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to open it. I have Googled to no end and can't really find any sites talking about it. There are no screws or openings in this PSU like there are in every other PSU I've done. Does anyone have any clue how to open it, if you even can at all? I imagine Sega may have just not wanted people to open them, but how would Sega service them if they ever needed to?
Thank you and God bless!

It could also be glued together.
Yeah, I tried prying my way in but so far, doesn't seem like I'm making any progress. I have a heat station so if I knew it was glued, I'd carefully give it a whirl, just wish I could find any info about it before I waste my time or ruin something. I have some other MK-2103 PSUs that use screws, but this one is different from any of the other pics I've seen online.
I have a Turbografx CD PSU that is glued (most likely ultrasonically welded). I open it by using a utility knife to score along where the two meets. I have to go over many time (approximately 0.5 deep or more), then I apply some pressure along the seams with a quick grip clamps. If you score enough, it should pop open. It's quite tedious but it could be done. Be careful and do it slowly. Before glue them back, get a large size sand paper, put it on a table with the grit facing up. Sand down both halves with the open side pointing down to get a good mating surface. Put a bead of super glue and your done.

Thanks for the tip. I'll give it a try! What a dumb way to seal these things!

That would've been my assumption, just funny that I have like, 6 other Genesis 1 and 2 PSU models that can all be opened and are secured with screws, as well as NES and SNES PSUs. This is the first one I have owned that has been glued or essentially melted together.
