I'm curious to know what are you using for sitting while gaming (for consoles, not pc). I'm having a lot of back pain (every year is worst), so I have to change my beat up couch for something more ergonomic (now I’m using one of my kitchen chairs for gaming, since I can’t use my couch anymore).
I’ve notice that I’m the most comfortable in my car, so I’m thinking a low and tilted chair would be a good gaming chair. Any suggestions?
Console gaming chair??

As a broken middle aged man, nothing beats a good Laz-E-Boy recliner IMHO.
It might not be a bad idea to see a chiropractor too. Mine has done wonders for my back discomfort.

Currently using a Big Joe bean bag chair, but its not optimal. Could be larger-- and Im not a large person at all at 5'7" 150lbs / 68kilos

Zero gravity chair. Most of my gaming setup is in the garage, so this is perfect because I can fold it up and put it away when it's not in use. The downside is that it's easy to fall asleep in the middle of a game.

I have this same problem. The couch kills my back like nothing else. I do okay in my computer chair, but the wheels make it difficult to stay in one place when I'm relaxing, and it could be better for comfort. When I have some more spending cash I plan on getting a "gaming chair". They're somewhere between an automobile chair and a computer chair. They make ones that sit on the floor, giving a much lower sitting position than a computer chair (lower than a couch as well). That would be ideal for my setup, and would allow my dog to sit next to me while I am playing.
