Dealing with an old LS-32 - refurbish or replace?
Dealing with an old LS-32 - refurbish or replace?
My stick's still got the same LS-32 that came in it when it was built 12 years ago, and it feels looser than I remember it being. Guess it's not a big surprise that it'd start to wear down. Is this something I can refurbish/fix? Or am I better off getting a replacement LS-32?

Could be as simple as the spring loosening over time. I suppose the microswitches' resistance could also have worn down with repeated activations, though the odds of that happening perfectly evenly all around are pretty low. Nobody's gonna be able to diagnose it precisely from afar, but yes, you might be able to fix it. If it's the spring alone it would be as simple as replacing the spring.
