Terra Cresta II PCE price question

Post by Ceph »

How much does it usually go for? I don't mean inflated ebay prices for new sealed copies, but for a used copy in good condition.

In used condition I say around $25 or less.

I just checked ebay and I see what you mean. It's just sad to see a boring game like Terra Cresta II for $99. The price just doesn't fit cause I purchased mine for $20 on ebay and it was complete. I can't believe how much prices got inflated on ebay after 4 years. Sorry, man but IMO this game is not worth it, your're better off with Terra Cresta for the Nes which is alot more fun to play anyway.

Edit: You might want to try Yahoo Japan auctions, they sometimes have better prices on PCE games than ebay.

It's rare. I don't mean Radiant Silvergun rare, I mean rare as in it does not pop up that often. Expect to pay $60 or more, and not be that dazzled by it. Going prices in Japan have been 5,000 to 8,000 yen for quite some time now. $20 on Ebay? Stranger things have happened. It is a pretty bad game afterall.

For that, and quite a few other games, you can always at least get some type of idea for how much it will cost. Link. I've got a quick link to YJ for all games listed, and if you go to the YJ auction assistant, I've got full lists w/ links to YJ for about 6-7 systems. In thise case though, there is only one, for the bargain price of 17,800 yen. $99 on Ebay seems a steal.

Hope that helps

Yeah $60 seems about the going rate for that game.

If you find one for $20 you're very, very lucky.

And yeah, the game sucks, pretty much.

Thank you all for your replies. I was under the impression Terra Cresta II was a good game; I had no idea it was generally considered bad, but I've never played it.

I only saw PlasmaBLOOD's replay of it, but haven't played it myself. The game looked quite decent. I loved the time travel level where it goes back to Terra Cresta 1. What's wrong with the game?
