Do all variants of M49LCB21X tube fit a 20L5?

Hello. I normally post questions in the question thread but this one is more urgent.

I read somewhere that the M49LCB21X tube is the one in the PVM-20L5. Is this true? and do all variants fits?


My 20L5 is on my local tech's bench right now and I'd like to swap the tube while it's there and disasembled. There are a couple M49LCB21X tubes on Ebay at the moment (some MZ-1, some MT-1) but I'd like to know which to buy.




I checked service manual but couldn't find the tube part number in that like 10 pages of parts.

I saw a post from someone with an australian model (D20L5A) and he replaced his stock MZ1 M49LCB21X with a M49LCB21X without a ''Mxx'' prefix.

There seems like there's a couple variants of that tube as well, probably for different market (MZ-1, MT-1). Will any variant work?


I am not really good at searching service manuals so help would be greatly appreciated.
