multiplayer games (more than 2 players at once) list

This list excludes the 128 bit era.
The Saturn list is lacking:
Noon 4-player
all NBA JAM games on Saturn 4-player
Is there more info on Dreamcast GC, XBOX and PS2 games?
For Dreamcast I know of
Tetris 4D 4-player (Tetris online = max 2 players and very sucks)
Powerstones
Sega Tennis, probably lots of other sportsgames
Oops almost forgot about the only 4 player shmup on any system: GW2
probably all those wacky cartoony racers for the DC, geez there are alot of those for the DC.
Shouldn't there be a multiplayer information site somewhere?

They could list Amiga games.

Amiga got Bomberman (Actually under its european name, "Dynablaster") , Base Jumpers and a few sports games, and a few PD/Shareware games.

Not to mention a Shareware game called "Tanx 'n' Stuff", which is one of the most fun games to play, and it supports 4 players (Though you can play with 3 players without any adapter, using 2 controllers and the keyboard).

But really, if you want multiplayer fun, get the most modern Micro Machines game available (Has V4 already been released? If not, then it's V3) , or Worms World Party. You are set :)

I've played many multiplayer games with friends, and IMO nothing ever got close of Worms and Micro Machines in terms of fun.

Worms is surely up there but one game that can compete is Death Tank (Zwei), availlable on Exhumed/Powerslave and Duke Nukem 3d for Saturn. It´s basically a Worms kind of game with all players playing simultaneously. There was a similar game in development for Dreamcast which was called Dee Dee Planet (still remember the pictures in Famitsu), but unfortunately this was cancelled, and some people still hope it gets a release on whatever system at some time.

Battletanx and Battletanx: Global Assault for N64 for both amazing. They were frantic and had great CTF modes. Plus, who can forget the original Perfect Dark? The N64 had great multiplayer games, even if almost everything else blew.

If we are talking about PC games then there are hundreds to list in freeware alone. Just visit gamehippo.com or the-underdogs.info (their new address), and you'll find a wealth of them.
