I have my Super Emotia hooked up to my TV, but the picture won't come in clear. This is my signal chain:
Nintendo Switch >> Moread HDMI/ VGA adapter >> VGA Cable >> Super Emotia
then out of the Super Emotia:
male SCART to 4 bnc cables >> Retrotink Transcoder >> component cables >> TV
As you can see in the video, the picture comes in clear for just a second and goes away. Is there something I'm missing in the signal chain, maybe faulty equipment or did I do something wrong? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
FYI, I have my Nintendo Switch already set to 480p, the male scart to 4 bnc cables are from retrogamingcables and the tv I have everything hooked up to is my Trinitron XBR48.

Re: Super Emotia Picture Help
Is the HDMI to VGA by any chance one with an external PSU? I would maybe try one of those if not (Portta makes a great one) but this almost looks like loose cabling or something. That long chain is a tough cookie to crumble, at least for me! Hope someone else can provide better advice.logo98 wrote:I have my Super Emotia hooked up to my TV, but the picture won't come in clear. OH, also is it one of those HDMI to VGAs with a built-on HDMI cable? If so the HDMI to VGA could most definitely be the problemlogo98 wrote:I have my Super Emotia hooked up to my TV, but the picture won't come in clear. This is my signal chain:
