Looking for an easily modiable Saturn Joystick w/ Auto Fire

Post by SAM »

For easily modiable, I mean switching the joystick and buttons with Sanwa parts.

Any recommentations?

EDIT: It seems to me HSS-0136 Sega Saturn Virtual Stick is a good choose.

Depending on your budget and modding abilities, it may be just as easy to get a stick that already had the desired parts, and mod it with a brooks retro board or mc cthulhu.

I second everything NoAffinity typed. Either of those boards can be installed trivially into a cheap HORI, MayFlash, or MadCatz stick, most of which are better than the best stuff available for the Saturn back in the day. Many models are known to be especially easy to Sanwa mod, but some of them also come with Sanwa parts already. Hori's Real Arcade Pro sticks (aka HRAP) were made with all Sanwa components until recently when they released arguably better in-house parts (Hayabusa).

Get an HRAP, install the board. As a bonus, you get compatibility with PS1/2, PC, and almost everything else worth playing other than the Sega Genesis, which neither support.
