Neo Geo splash screen disappeared

The Neo Geo splash screen on my MVS seems to have disappeared. I've tried Strikers Plus and Metal Slug 3 and in both cases it goes straight to the game instead of displaying the Neo Geo logo first. Anyone know what would cause that?

That's just how those games are coded. MS3 boots straight to its title screen, as does MSX. Strikers displays the Psikyo logo, then runs its CG intro. The usual Neo Geo attract sequence will roll after their demos and high scores.

Do you have any other carts to test with? Games like the above are the exception, in my experience. On the off-chance your only other cart is NAM-1975, that one lacks the Neo Geo attract altogether, and also defaults to Level 5.
