Hi!
I have the opportunity to buy a DVDO Iscan Ultra and I would like to know if it's worth it. I'm only interested in playing interlaced PS2 and GameCube PAL games (576i). I've seen Fudoh review but I don't know how good the deinterlacing is (compared to Framemeister for example). I also have an OSSC, but interlaced PAL games don't look good.
Any suggestion?
Is a DVDO Iscan Ultra worth it?

On a benchmark level its deinterlacing is quite outdated, but then again at least it is PROPER deinterlacing. Really depends on the price. If you can get one cheap, why not give it a try.

The price is about 140 €, but I need to add a RGB to YUV transcoder, so it'll be around 200€.Fudoh wrote:On a benchmark level its deinterlacing is quite outdated, but then again at least it is PROPER deinterlacing. Really depends on the price. If you can get one cheap, why not give it a try.
Thank you for you suggestion.

That's seems expensive. I would wait for a cheaper unit or try something different.
We apologise for the inconvenience
