Has anyone repaired or redrawn button contacts points?
I'm talking about the part that is typically on a PCB (or a ribbon cable sort of thing in the case of the PS4). I've been doing a lot of hunting lately to figure out why Xbox One controllers seem to be the only controllers where certain angles can cause button presses to not register and ultimately it seems to come down to the design of the contact points, as you can see here: https://imgur.com/gallery/tQAGwxM. Well, technically the issue could be mitigated with a tighter fit around the button so that it can only be pressed straight down, but the real source of the problem seems to be those contact points. It's a bit obsessive of me, but I'm wondering if it's possible to redraw the contact points to work better. Probably easy enough to scrape off the existing lines, but what would I use to redraw them? Anyone ever tried something like this?
