I have a desire to use my PS3/4 arcade stick on my Sega Saturn (yeah I know, with the awesome pad the Saturn has it shouldn't be a necessity).
There are no PS3/4 to Saturn adapters available on the market. However I do have a PS3/4 to PS2 adapter by brooks (amazing product), and a PS2 to Saturn adapter by Tototek (less well built but decent enough), can I merge them to get my PS4 stick to work on my Saturn or is that a bad idea?
Although with a single adapter I seem to get no delay, in principle I'd think using 2 sounds like a bad idea, but I'd like to have some opinions.
Ok to use a PS3>PS2 controller adapter into a PS2>Sat adapt?

As you said, you'd think chaining adapters would accumulate lag, but I've seen a few anecdotal/theoretical posts over the years claiming similar setups worked fine.
Is there a reason you haven't just tried it? You're not going to harm anything; worst case is it just isn't satisfactory. So go ahead, give it a run! And let us know if it does pleasantly surprise.

Thanks for the reply. So I powered up to test it as you recommended, but I couldn't find the second adapter (ps2>sat)I have so many of these Tototeks I'm plowing through the adapter drawer and just couldn't find it. I was sure I had one but just in case I'll get another and report back to this thread once I tested.
