Good thing I have a 360! :D
You on Xbox Live?

If so my g-tag is pzykotikjp. Always glad to play games with fellow shmuppers (granted, I've only played online with Vexorg, but he was cool as hell, so it was fun).
At the moment, no Live access at the moment.
Moved recently and will be getting broadband shortly. :(

Well, I haven't kept up with what the 360 is doing in terms of retro gaming, or what (if anything) the PS3 plans on doing, but as I said before, I don't think it's too smart to swear allegiance one way or the other at this point. The people who you've referred to who have already decided on Sony need to get their heads straight, but imo so do people who have already written Sony off completely, especially considering how many "retro" titles the PS2 has gotten this generation (if you import, anyways). Basically all I'm saying is "look before you leap," since both systems will need time to prove themselves before anything of value can be said on this matter.

Are they sure this time... or are they planning on pushing it back some more?

So I guess they'll be including a new arrange OST or something with the port... seeing as they've already released 2 soundtrack CDs.

I want to play this game sooooooooooooooo badly. I like what jp said early about how Microsoft bends over backwards for Old school gamers it's so true but few realize this.(I mean the reason I got an X-box was for Metal Slug3 and Ninja Gaiden)
I did great so much water and milk that I threw up when I was little.

I like how some guy earlier said if G.Rev had a brain they would port it to the PS2 (or PS3) so it would get a US release.

It may not even matter at this point if the PS3 is as region-free as Sony has said it would be. JP publishers that do a lot of shmups must know that there's a non-insubstantial importer market out there, they'd be dumb to region-lock their games.

Looks like they're confirming it.

Character Drama CD, apparently. I'm having flashbacks to Saturn Langrisser I & II.

I'll believe it when I see it. ;)

That kinda makes sense, seeing as the last two tracks on the full soundtrack CD were mini radio dramas.

Half the Suchie Pai games come with radio drama CDs as well.

So it's safe to say I can buy the OST now that I know what's coming with the LE version of the game, right?

Besides, doesn't preordering end once a game is released, making your thread obsolete anyway? ;)

did you NOT read the last 3 pages of the thread. it explains about the online portion and gameplay, YOU MORON

and the thread was created months ago before the game was released...Is it so hard to read nowadays

SnR was released in July and I created the thread in May..uhh whats your point????

When reading your reply, making fun of your reading skills and how they seem to be lacking just as your writing ability and manners did cross my mind, but I'll not.

Instead, let me spell it out: My point is that you created your thread AFTER this one here. Until now, when locking duplicate threads it has been common practice to close the one that was created second.

So if any, yours should be locked and all useful information should be moved here since your topic dealt with preordering the game, which means that any info on game mechanics is off-topic in your thread.

EDIT: Typo corrected

I'd like to add, my first reply was tongue-in-cheek, then you resorted to name-calling.

I just got this game today and popped it in my JP 360. After some time with it I must say I'm far more impressed than I was when I played it in an arcade in Japan last summer. It really is a lot of fun and I love the art style. Score attack mode is killer. Now I just have to figure out some of the special moves and techniques.

Definitely any shmup fan with a Japanese 360 needs to buy this. :D
