Retro-gaming deals for Black Friday 2019?

Post by HDgaming42 »

Anyone know of any impending Black Friday deals that are retro-gaming related? I've traditionally used this time of year to pick up/upgrade krikzz gear. Seems they'll be having 20% off this year--not sure if his Amazon storefront will reflect the discounts as well. Thinking of picking up the Turbo Everdrive v2 unless there's a new version in the works I haven't heard about...

Don't see anything posted for Stone Age Gamer--not sure if they traditionally have Black Friday sales or not.

Hoping for some discounts on analogue or terraonion gear too, thought that's probably unrealistic.

Krikzz sale is up, 20% off and now faster shipping to the US:

SAG is having a pretty good sale on retro stuff, starting tomorrow:

And finally, TerraOnion is doing 16% off, but limited stock, so hurry if you want something specific:

Thanks! I wish SAG's wasn't a PDF as I have no idea what their Canadian prices will be (it's rarely a straight conversion).

Any Canadians order from SAG? Did you get nailed with brokerage fees?

This Gameboy modding site is having some kind of sale on black friday. $5 in store credit will also be awarded if you create an account prior to the sale start.

Gamestop is running a promo on Eon products. No price limit on the 3 free games, but you're limited to what's in stock. There is a risk of receiving a bootleg N64 cart, but their return policy is no hassle.

EON Super 64 Nintendo 64 HDMI Adapter with 3 free N64 games. $149.99

Huh, that's a good deal. Does the Eon GCHD have updatable firmware? How does it handle the analog output, a separate DAC or is it somehow using both GC-Video DVI and GC-Video Lite?

EDIT: I see not updatable without cracking it open and soldering to jtag headers, and running an older citrus3000psi firmware branch that Extrems has pointed out has its own bugs I believe.

EON will also update your device for free if you pay shipping. I'm honestly not sure what the state of things are for the firmware updates. I've been holding off sending my mk-ii in for firmware until things are more settled. I'd like to think they would adapt the latest changes, but they keep the whole process kind of mysterious. No patch notes or general heads up on updates that I'm aware of.
