Im worried because All White Screen on BVM 20F1E is not all pure white, there are areas that are light bluish instead of white.
Is this normal? Can this be fixed with the convergence settings? If not how, when money is no issue? I could buy a brand new (0 hours)
replacement tube, though.

White purity issues, probably because the monitor has been in extensive use in some work environment. Happens a lot with pro monitors (even when the clock indicates a low hour count, as sometimes when servicing was done on pro monitors they reset the clock), when you're lucky it's to a degree that is barely noticeable (at least this was the case on the two 20G1U's I had), but sounds like yours might need some work. I think improve that may be possible, normally the magnetic strips on the back of the tubes are are used for converge/geometry but I had read there exists a different set of them that get attached differently that affect color but I've never seen them and I could be wrong, otherwise maybe yoke modifications but I never had to even consider such a thing on a pro monitor since normally so many adjustments are made available on board.

I'd guess this is like the D20, which has white purity adjustment settings in the maintenance menu, where you can choose the cardinal direction the monitor faces and do either manual zone adjustments or use a scope.

For what it's worth I never saw such menus on my BVM-20G1U units. I had some very slight white purity issues and could not resolve them via menus.fernan1234 wrote:I'd guess this is like the D20, which has white purity adjustment settings in the maintenance menu, where you can choose the cardinal direction the monitor faces and do either manual zone adjustments or use a scope.
