Post by Axon »

It would appreciate it a lot if I get get some info on these TD games' music. I am mostly interested in what genre(s) they use and if they have lifelike synth/live instruments used, not good not bad synth, or just synth that doesn't really sound like an instrument.

Dynastic Hero
Double Dragon II
Neo Metal Fantasy
Faussete Armor
Fray In Magical Adventure
Genocide

Jim Power
Kaze Kiri
Kisou Louga
Kisou Louga II
KO Seiki Beast-Gaia FuKkatsu Kanketsu Hen

Also, if you want, you could suggest some TD titles with good music, I'm mostly interested in ones that take advantage of the CD quality, if you do suggest, please also tell the genre(s).

Macross 2036 and Drac X stand as some of the best examples of PCE CD audio. And Y's too.

Super Darius II has some pretty good mixes of the original arcade songs. And I second Dracula X: Rondo of Blood.

I second those which Specineff and The Coop suggested (I bought Darius II mostly for the music). I'd like to suggest Nexzr which one of the best shmups for the system and has great music.
