We're 126 now and there are two players waiting in line to sign up. In other words, we're looking for 4 players again. Act fast.. they tend to fill up pretty quick.

Next tournament is in 2 months, starting on the weekend of April 10th and ending May 10th (so right in between of Mikado arcade opening in Spain and Stunfest).

The list of potential games will be known during the first week of March. We're going to be playing 10 games this time around..

I'm interested if you still have a slot! Otherwise I will try to play alongside. Do you have a list of the upcoming games? It seems like the list that's up is last years, or am i wrong?

I just feel the need to say that the previous Calice Cup was some of the most fun I've had with the genre in a long time. If you want to feel the real thrill of competition with lots of other players, you have to sign up! If you're lucky you'll be on my team.

I've 1CC'd it both without and with autofire; I highly recommend the rules allows for autofire as the Rapid fire item mechanic in the game adds nothing of value to enjoyment, and a higher than normally possible tap rate gets capped by the game at what is a reasonably realistic tap speed anyways (caps at the same speed you get holding fire with a Rapid fire item). There appears to be no in-game difference whether you're tapping rapidly manually or using external autofire to do it.

It's also a much worse implementation of a Rapid fire item in a Konami game than say Wild West C.O.W. Boys of Moo Mesa. You have a Rapid item there too, but it's only lost if you die, as opposed to G.I. Joe where it's lost on taking any damage (both games have 3 health segments per life, with fairly plentiful healing items). And Moo Mesa at least has a benefit to mashing (you can fire a good deal faster than the Rapid item shoots while holding) so there's some argument against allowing for mechanical rapid fire there. Though because the game registers Jump + Shoot for the dash, if you do setup external rapid fire you actually end up accidentally dashing if you forget to stop shooting and try to jump anyways.
