This is one of Toaplan's greatest in my opinion.
I had one and I sold it to pay for my car insurance. I miss it!!

Hell yeah!
Get Batsugun. You can't go wrong. It's also ported really nicely on Saturn (including the Batsugun Special Version).
Or Fix Eight, the sequel to Outzone.
Dogyuun and VV are great too.
Then of course there's all the old school classics: Kyuukyoku Tiger, Tatsujin 1&2, Flying Shark, Daisenpuu, et al

Toaplan must-haves, on the preferred (best port) platform:
Tiger Heli (PSX)
Daisenpu/Twin Hawk (PCE)
Wardner (Genesis or arcade, really)
Batsugun (SS, normal version)
Kyukyoku Tiger seems to be pretty popular. I'd say some of the games it influenced (Raiden DX, Under Defeat, to name a few) improve on it drastically, though.

Toaplan has a great library. I wonder if Cave would've turned into what it did had Toaplan not gone uner.

IMO, Toaplan is best at vert scroll Shmups,
I think there best are...
Batsugun
Flying Shark
Fire Shark
V-V
These are the people who later form the core of Cave, 8ing/Raizing & Takumi.
BTW, I got a Daisenpuu PCB for sale. PM me your offer if you are interested.
