Redownloading delisted PSN games

Has anyone here tried to redownload a delisted playstation network game they previously owned? Will it work? I currently have Scott Pilgrim vs the World( delisted on PSN and not available for purchase ) installed on my PS3 and want to upgrade to a bigger hard drive but am afraid of losing access to the game if I do. Any thoughts?

Why don't you back up your current data to an external USB drive and restore it after installing the new internal HDD?

Not familiar with PSN specifically but industry standard is that you can still DL any delisted product if it was purchased before the delisting.

Usually this is done through your User ID. Obviously the game would not be visible on the storefront so you would find it through your purchase history, where there would still be the option to download.

I can confirm you are able to download again any delisted game trough purchase history on PS3. I've done it after upgrading my internal HDD. But the method is not very practical when you have done a lot of purchases.

In the PSN store on the PS3 there is an option called "View Downloads". Enter it and scroll down until you see the delisted game you are looking for.

On the EU PSN store Scott Pilgrim VS the World the Game is two downloads. A game "trial" and an unlock key.
