Good stuff. That charge shot looks really powerful.

Indeed, this has to be the single most impressive achievement one can obtain when it comes to classic shooters (let's exclude 10m+ runs in games like Gradius III or Tatsujin Ou here) - clearing what is without a doubt the hardest classic 2-ALL without the one tiny advantage that makes it possible in the first place. If it wasn't for the deaths, the other videos and the fact that this seems to be recorded from a PCB (?), I would've assumed a TAS. Some of those dodges are completely unreal (like 08:41 and onwards or 15:55 onwards in the second video). It's mortifying to say the least.

How do people even beat Gradius III arcade once? 95% or more people end up getting stuck at Level 3 and going no further.

I've been working on some individual stage clears of Cambria Sword. Each stage is long enough that it may as well be considered a full game. So far I have stage 5 and stage 6/6+ (6+ isn't playable by itself, you have to access it from stage 6 or stage 4).

Stage 5: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DpXnyzU ... ZOsGffIQxb
Stage 6/6+: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOPGtFL ... ZOsGffIQxb

I also included in the playlist an older video of mine which plays through stages 1-4 (which is why I started my individual stage playthroughs at stage 5): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aN6MNYK ... ZOsGffIQxb

While I'm on the subject, here's a full 1CC of the game played by someone who's clearly better at this than me:
Part 1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFJyr1THPHE
Part 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6jnFMfvbM74
Part 3 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FR-dS4i44o

Here's another full clear, this one of Easy mode (which is the same as Normal but with more frequent rare weapon spawns): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNdBxZKMUGQ

Added stages 7 and 8 to my Cambria Sword playlist. Stage 8 in particular is one of my favorites, and I hope this video can convey some of its appeal.

Stage 7 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6tXG0od ... xb&index=4
Stage 8 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xd_zUx_ ... xb&index=5

These stages are getting tougher; I expect stages 9 and 10 will take a while.

Nice to see him playing something other than Raiden Fighters 2. Even if he is a ship world record holder in RF2, he's pretty darn good at Battle Garegga. Its not in vertical orientation, but still an impressive run none the less on the 2016 M2 port. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UGkmYDT2pcs

I ended up playing Stages 9 and 10 in Easy mode, which has the same patterns as normal but makes rare weapons much more common, so I had some fun with those.

Also got a new PB in Armed Police Batrider, clearing the game with Maria-C: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNpXBUf2bP0

Twin Cobra F2P. Actually a decent play apart from sensitive touchscreen and ads after each play.

I recorded a 1ALL of Mahou Daisakusen for the Calice Cup tournament. Check out my sick recoveries on the boss rush. Down to the wire; it's the only way to shmup!

I 'spiced' it up by adding some window dressing using the manga that blackoak translated on the sides. Hence my title of 'deluxe,' to add some hyperbole to an otherwise 'ordinary' clear (I don't think any 1ALL of this game is ordinary, but hey!). 8)

My only wish is that Vegas could get the zoomed-in 240x320 game screen looking a little crisper. Does anyone have experience converting these games to HD youtube videos?

I'm unfamiliar with Vegas, but you might want to check what sort of scaling options it has. When I encode videos using FFmpeg I use nearest-neighbor scaling (as opposed to bilinear, trilinear, etc.) to avoid drowning out the pixels in a blur of filtering.

Congrats on the clear, by the way!
