Metal Slug 6?

Post by Brian »

I know that MS6 is an Atomiswave system cart, so what is this? What type of hack job is this?

Probably MS5 with a different sticker on it.. At any rate, someone should probably shop them to ebay for selling hacks/bootlegs.

A glitchy hack of Metal Slug 3 with selectable weapons, start from stage 5, etc.

Did you guys ever heard about "Metal Slug Submarine" ?

I know a lot of people who have this game for the PSX.

It's not hard to guess what game actually is, is it?

Yeah, but it's the japanese version. The game doesn't have ONE SINGLE hack at it, they just slapped a cover with "Metal Slug Submarine", and sold the game as it is.

As the title screen is in japanese, most people can't understand it anyway.

You have no idea of how many people I know have told me they had bought or were enjoying "Metal Slug Submarine"

Which is even more funnier is that I am pretty sure if I just showed them In The Hunt, they wouldn't enjoy the game as much as they enjoy Metal Slug Submarine :)

Well, at the very least, at least the seller states it is a boot. I have dealt with that guy before, he is an excellent seller. Anyway, thanks for the info as I had no idea.
