I should get this by the weekend. I don't care if it's spectacular, I just want a new shmup to play.
Edit: Sorry wrong forum.
I actually prefer this to Raiden 3 (probably not win any friends with an opinon like that.) Although Raiden 3 has better production, it lacks the shooting-love that Trizeal has (or any love for that matter.) Raiden 3 is a game by machines, for machines (and yes, I own it and like it, but it will collect a lot of dust before I play it again...)Neon wrote:Would this or Raiden 3 be better? I didn't like Trizeal at all. I find Raiden 3 fairly uninteresting, but still better than Trizeal.Neon wrote:Would this or Raiden 3 be better? I remember I tried a demo for this game and didn't like it, but apparently it wasn't actually a demo, so...
I totally agree. Except that I don't really like Raiden III.CMoon wrote:I actually prefer this to Raiden 3 (probably not win any friends with an opinon like that.) Can anyone confirm that?
Chaos Field even got a PS2 release.icycalm wrote:What?xaer0knight wrote:thats good news. its ported the the PS2 in Japan or the States? I was suprised that Chaos Field was ported the GC in the states, i was hoping Trizeal would of been the same story on the GC
True for most case, but this time the PS2 version support progressive scan. The game would be nearly as good looking as in native VGA on DreamCase.MadSteelDarkness wrote:Myself, since I've got the DC rev, I'll be skipping this version. No amount of extras will be able to beat lovely, native VGA goodness.
About the same as in the DC port then, I'd guess. Which is appreciated as it makes the sections a good bit easier, but it'd be nice to test your skills against full-speed bullets. No Wait On/Off options, then?postman wrote:I got to play this last night, I'm not happy with the port.
Tons of slowdown........the battleship "boss" fight at the end of level three friggin crawls.........
This was the same in the DC port. Also, on the results screen, you can't hit start to skip it, you need to wait for all the scores to tally.......you can speed them up by holding a button down, but it's still extremely annoying.
You continue AND you play on Very Easy? That's it, you're not allowed here anymore. Also, your score doesn't reset when using a continue (maybe since I only played on very easy???).
Well this sounds exactly like the Dreamcast version, and that is the version I will be comparing withpostman wrote:I got to play this last night, I'm not happy with the port.
